I tested it immediately and still can save files, hence my question.

Interesting. The behavior experienced here now is the same as the behavior of b3 when b4 was new. Maybe you have a special, non-expiring, secret-squirrel version.

Same here, since May I get the demo pop-up, trying to register fails, demo won't save files.
You guys saw that there is a new beta (8.0b5) that can be found in the first post of this thread right?

Ah well, clearly, I did NOT look at the first page of the thread. I was looking for another in-line message from Martin in the thread, as he had done for the previous versions of beta 8, to announce a new beta version. I have eyes, but did not see. Well-equipped once again.
