Great work ZH. Got tutorial coming for how you are getting such nice gaps? Those door, window, light seams always threw me.

Thanks Greg, I will definitely cover the creation of gaps, seams and recesses.

I needed to test how well my method worked when splitting the door from the body.
So far so good, I'm also dealing with proper window refractions by copying and pasting
the windows, flipping the normals and Normal Moving them inward slightly for desired
glass thickness, with full 1.55 Ior. Later they're welded to the interior.

I added a wing for rear end stability for the ridiculous acceleration of a 'Siamese 9'
Dual armature series-wound electric motor from High Torque Electric.

With a lithium ion battery, this set up can do 0-60mph
in under 2 seconds, and a quarter mile in under 11.

The beautiful thing about electric motors
is that you get 100% power at zero RPM.
Acceleration so intense as to blur your vision from
the blood being "pushed" back in your eyeballs.

Hmm, at that kind of acceleration I wouldn't want to be directly behind the bed of the truck if it's carrying 2 x 4's! ;-) Maybe a mesh of some kind covering the inside of the rear panel?

Oh Oh! Hang onto your hats! A speed demon is here.

I better not show this to my husband. Not only is he a truck man
but he has a lead foot and likes to drive in the "Hammer Lane"
I guess that is why you named it HammerHead: Clever

I also bet he would have liked the tailgate for hauling lumber: The boards
could sit on the floor and stick out through the holes. . . just have to tie them down good and tight.

My Best Regards
Jeanny

I was thinking about honeycomb mesh panels.

That's a great idea, an integrated rack and tie down system.

I've seen Chip Foose hide the handle on the inside, it keeps the outside looking clean.
