ZBush for Mac is out since Sep 2008, but there are lots of complaining about it in the forums from what I can read: License transfers, probs with displacement maps, no Mac trial so far.

Yeah it does look like ZBrush's mac version is a bit flaky :-(

Let's hope Autodesk has some long-term Mac plans.

Pixologic ZBrush4 announced for August 2009

...to range Windows and Mac versions on the same level.

Sadly zBrush is sickly expensive for hobbiists 8(
