Lost Tutorial

Hello Everyone,

I saw a tutorial online a few months ago that described how to create a terrain using a plane instead of the relief object.

Unfortunately I've forgotten where I saw it and wandered if any of you would know.

I've got a good idea how to do it but would like to watch it again just to recap.

Thanks for your reply.

It was a lot simpler than that but a handy technique for creating low poly landscapes. (I'm looking at creating a golf course for a game).

Thanks for the link though as it could come in handy as an alternative.

I think it may have been one of alvordr's tutorials on www.cgvertx.com but the site doesn't seem to work at the moment.

I already understand that method, and really I understand the method that was in the tutorial, I just want to watch it again to refresh my brain.

Found it!

It was Robert's tutorial on www.cgvertx.com, which is up and running again.

It's just a really simple way to create a terrain using a plane and the magnet tool. It's really handy if you want to create low poly landscapes for games.
