Delete an object?

Delete an object?

I'm really new to this, too, and at 58, of sufficiently advanced age that my brain was apparently wired for vacuum tubes rather than 3D modeling.

I have been making some actual progress, though it is slow going, especially since the tutorials have not kept pace with development of the program and are basically useless.

Current problem is not knowing how to delete an object. I would have thought that would be rather straightforward, as these things go, but no. Well, perhaps it is, and I've just missed it. Help? ;-)

No matter what the problem is, you will always find help on this forum.
To delete an object, select it in the object browser and hit backspace. Easy ...

Must have been the only thing I didn't try. Jeez. Tried selecting in the browser and choosing delete from the edit menu. Tried the delete key. Some things just don't seem to make it sense to an old man.

Thanks. Works like a charm. I'll make my next question a bit harder.
