The UV editor option not in main menu

I suppose you're aware of this "bug", but if you didn't, the "UV editor" is in the toolbar combo only, it doesn't appear in the main menu
 
Hi,
sorry but I probably don't understand you. Where in the main menu should the UV editor appear? The 3D view, the property views etc. also don't have a entry in the main menu.

The "Window>Layout" submenu is exactly identical to the Layout combobox in the toolbar, except that the latter has the UV editor and the former doesn't.

now I know what you mean. You meant the "UV Editing" command and not the "UV editor".

I will add a "UV editing" menu entry to the layout menu. Thanks for the tip.
