Script hotkeys

Script hotkeys

I just realized that it's possible to bind scripts (or any other menu items) to hotkeys using OSX's keyboard and mouse preferences under "Application Keyboard Shortcuts". It opens up the use of modifier keys for shortcuts since C3D prefs don't allow for that.

Sorry if that's old hat, but it's very useful to me!

Hi I had a look at this, (currently using Tiger) and am a little lost. If I wanted to execute a custom script, using (ctrl+option+cmd+i), how would I go about this? the keyboard shortcuts options in sustem prefs let me navigate to C3D app, but not a specific script as such..

thanks IA

hi

it works well with both, Leopard and Tiger. :?:

to use with system shortcut, you need to change script name to unique one in menu bar....
