Recently no Mac at hand, but I'd try to build 1 flat "leaf" or "drop" like shape from quads (+Subdivision-modifier) and add a "Spherical"-modifier to it. Then thicken the shape with a Shell-modifier. Duplicate with ring-modifier for instance. Add a sphere at the center.
Hi Charles
* Here is a quick approximation:
* All objects come from the C3D toolbox and there is no edited object.
* Basically:
1 1/3 of a sphere, 0 - 120°
2 add a ring to get a tri-partite sphere
3 add a twist
4 add a transform and fiddle the params to generate the ∆ "hole" at the top
I guess you have to modify this a bit to get a mesh which corresponds to the logo, but the principles may be useful.
Post Scriptum:
Beware:
The logo is presumably covered by copyright. The client, legal persona Niels van Rijsingen, may / may not hold this copyright. I have no idea about such legalities in the NL and the website on the tricky bits (presumably "19. Intellectuele eigendomsrechten") is only available in Dutch.
