* macOS can handle .stl / stereolithographic documents without a problem for ad hoc pop ups. They also can be rotated (+ inertia) / zoomed / ... The same applies to .obj documents, where you get additional colo(u)r information.
It is a bit slow, shows objects which are hidden in the jas browser, switches axes and the file sizes are quite significant...
You may consider saving specific models in .stl format if it suits your work flow and your HW.
