Bounce Tool

* AFAIK, the bounce script is one of the spline based scripts in the folder, being a set of consecutive parabolic hops. I assume that it was and still is part of the basic tool box of C3D.
* Menue Tools, command Script, subline Spline Scripts.

Looks like the Bounce script will make a Spline that can then be used with Spline Tracking.

To use Spline Tracking, select the object you want to "bounce" and add the Spline Tracking Tag to it from the Tag menu.
Then in the Tag panel choose the Bounce Spline from the Path pull down menu.
After that you will animate the Tag's own Position property.

If you want some more help with animation, just ask away.

Here's an example I put together for you to check out.

 Note that spline tracking along the bouncy spline is physically incorrect. A bouncIng object loses energy on any contact with the substrate and as a consequence the speed / momentum diminishes. If the ball is rotating, things get even more complicated.
:devilish: Check some references on baseball / cricket, if this needs to be precise.

Actually the tag does include a damping parameter which seems to
diminish the distance between bounces hence reduced forward velocity.
