Won't subtract in boolean

I have an .stl file that I am trying to subtract a box from. When I put them in the boolean they both disappear. Also, wont' let me attach the .jas file in this thread???

Hi @misterdiedrich, That stl file is a mess, plus it's huge.

There's a much simpler way to make this.

It's a bit harsh on a user who probably just relies on his CAD-software to produce meaningful dat

Probably he got the stl somewhere else, so nobody here is offended (hopefully).

But I'd subscribe to "whoever programmed that export feature in whatever CAD-Software wasn't quite wathertight"
