Animating Text

I was browsing through 3D Mag at Borders book store last week and for the first time heard of Cheetah 3D. I'm very excited to try the demo when I get home tonight.

Does Cheetah's modeling have a Text tool? If not, can I import Adobe Illustrator files? I'd like to animate text for motion graphics then import the image sequence into Combustion to complete the shot.

Hi,
and welcome to the forum. You can do the text directly in Cheetah3D. For logos and other Illustrator art work you can either use the PDF or SVG file format to move your artwork into Cheetah3D.
