Setting the default export type

Is there some preference I can set to set the default export types? I just want to export to a particular format most of the time (not jas) and selecting the type is cumbersome after a while.

Also having a default material library show up would be useful...

sorry but it is not possible to set a default exporter yet. I'm currently doing it the Cocoa way and let Cocoa handle all that stuff for me.

You should also consider that a lot of information get lost if you save to another file format. For example .3ds only accepts triangles etc. Only in the .jas file format all Cheetah3D specific parameters can be saved.

So it is best to work with .jas until your model is finished and the last step should be to convert it to the needed file format.

If you open a non .jas file Cheetah3D will always save to the opendd file format. So you actually just have to choose once the needed file format.
