Lip sing????

Lip sing????

this may be a little hard and expensive but the animation program we have at school has a lip sing tool. you pick the corners of the mouth and the top and bottom and then select a voice track and you can make the character talk. its pretty cool and would open up a lot of possibilities i would think.

Hi,

Lip-syncing is mostly done by using morph shapes.

There are some free programs that help you break up your audio file into phonemes like Papagayo.
I don't know if this is possible in Cheetah, but Blender has a script that is able to link these phonemes to morphshapes automaticly...
As seen here.

Anyway I hope Cheetah gets an audio timeline soon, so we can at least do these things by hand...

Kind regards,
Filip

Yes please to audio support. Even if it is just a timeline which can have named markers and accepts audio files. Would make Cheetah really sing:)
