Object transparency monkeying with object visibility

Object transparency monkeying with object visibility

In the process of assembling an architecutural ...thing—it's much less of a project, and more of a pastime, really—I found my preview doing something odd.

The setup is that I have two pieces of flooring, one piece just ending at the boxes (apartments) to one side, and continuing in another direction with two pieces of glass half-wall to keep people from casually falling off of it.

Figure 1 is what it looks like from underneath so far...

And Figure 2 is what it looks like when seen through those glass walls. Where did that second piece of floor go?

In fact, the floor beneath also disappears when viewed through those glass boxes. This ...doesn't seem right.

You´re talking about the OpenGl view right? You must know that Transparency will be drawn at last in 3d view. So select&drag it to the bottom of the objects list:

Cheers

Oh, I betcha I did not know that. Once you pointed it out, though, a few other things made much more sense too.

Thanks for the quick reply.
