Ball-arm constraints - Tutorial?
Can someone possibly point me to a video or tutorial on IK constraints in C3D...? It has been (literally) over 20 years since I did *ANY* IK work, and that was in Lightwave. I just want to take a solid model of a ball-arm joint and apply constraints to the L-Rod... so that it can FREELY move 360° on its heading, but constrained on the other two axis by -42° to +42°.
I tried it on my own quickly and was getting frustrated. Any links would be appreciated... thanks.
This is the REAL object...
And this is a low-effort approximation until I can figure-out the IK constraints...
