Rendering a blueprint object

Hello all,

I've taken a survey of the land and house and used a blueprint object as a guide to build up the building. Everything went great... until it came time to render.

I'd really like to generate a rendering with the house sitting on top of the blueprint object (the survey) so the architect can see specifics of the spacing easements, etc. But I can't find a way.

I know I can manually edit it back in afterward using another editing tool, but getting the scale right is going to be a pain.

Can the blueprint object be rendered, and how?
