Planet 51 Design Challenge

This should be an open ended contest anyway, no time limits.

Yep, I feel unfinished...

exchanged some plastic to metal.

Wow ... all objects are really fantastic and everyone did a great job so far.

If I see all the renders something came up to my mind:

- What do you think about a texture/shader database for the hole project?

I think this could be a way that at the end all objects could fit needless together in one great picture?!

Is this something that could help also some users for their work?

Beautiful model compliments !
But I would give a filed at that needle
that is above the metal ball on top, someone could get hurt !
(I think it is the tip of the cone used to model the " antenna ",
if so I think to model that part there are more efficient methods that use a cone, bridge tool for example)

Sorry my fault  I consulted more thoroughly the encyclopedia of the planet 51
and the tip is used to squeeze some fruits like our oranges
while the clean energy ball absorbs juices transferring
them into the dispenser

Planet 51 stuff

Inspiring work everyone! TerryG, I also lived in NYC for 19 years and remember a snow storm in the early 90's that produced cross country skiers on 8th Avenue.
