Surfaces

Hi,

Does anyone know whether there are any additional preset surfaces available. I am an old Infini-D user and this is the first program I have used which doesn't have such a hugh learning curve. It's a natural progression from Infini-D. All it needs are a generous helping of presets for quick scene building.

I don't think so Alec, but they are a good start and easy to modify.

what do you mean with surfaces? I never used Infini-D so I'm not sure what you mean with "surfaces".

Hi Martin,

By surfaces I meant generated from pre-defined property settings. So there might be a few samples of different coloured plastic, golds, silver, chrome, faked sky, brick, faked woods, etc. Making it easier to quickly produce something all be it a bit crude.

In Cheetah3D these are called materials and yes there are preset materials: Velvet, wood, marble etc.

I plan to add more shaders or materials to Cheetah3D once I've rewritten the material system. So it's just a matter of time.
