Matching cameras between SU and C3D
Hi,
Here is a little ruby script to easily match a SketchUp camera view with a Cheetah3D camera :
- Please read the headlines in this file.
- Install in the SketchUp plugins folder. Start/Restart SU, load your model and choose/adjust the current view
- Run the script (see the camera menu) and when asked to save, choose the macro scripts folder of C3D
- Export your SketchUp model (in millimeters, swap yz when applicable). Load it into Cheetah3D and run the SUcam2C3Dcam.js script in the macro folder. You should now have the same view as in Sketchup (you may have to play with clip near/far values).
