Master List of Scripts

If you have posted an up-to-date (C3D 5.x compatible) script that isn't listed below, please post links to this thread and I'll try to update the list. Martin, could you please make this post sticky?

Basic Interface Enhancements
Expand Selection conditionally expand a selection
Toggle Visibility / Make Solo make everything except the selection disappear or go wireframe
OBJ Importer improved OBJ import
Object Chunker break large meshes into smaller meshes to meet polygon budget (e.g. for Unity which won't accept meshes with more than 65535 triangles).
set changer

Modeling
Bent Arrow
Billboard
Boolean Cut slice solid with a spline
Center Bounds set center of object to the center of its bounding box
Center of Gravity set center of object to the center of gravity of a solid object, assuming uniform density.
Cracker shatter glass etc.
Curls
Dissolve
Edge N Splitter a more versatile ring cutting tool
Edge Utilities macros for working with creases and seams
Laplacian Smooth for smoothing meshes (in the intuitive sense)
Particle Mesh -> Polygons convert a particle mesh into a collection of separate objects (rather than a single complicated mesh).
Paste Spline projects a spline onto a mesh generating new geometry.
Point Array
Polygon Paste project a polymesh onto another mesh.
Flatten Polygon make selected polygons properly coplanar
Hair algorithmic generation of hair geometry with UVs
Loft
Mandlebulb julia set modeler
Make Circle turn a selected set of quads into a circle — very useful for knocking holes or pulling pipes out of objects.
Mirror Copy (also useful for animation) mirror geometry and poses
Particle Connector
Path Array
Pivot Setter (and a derived script for setting the pivot to a selected point)
Polygon Reduction
Slicer
Smoothinator provides global control over smoothing and subdivision functions.
Surface Utilities powerful tools for changing smoothing settings and fixing normals.
Taper Sweep
Toggle Shading
Toggle Visibility
Voxelate
Polygon Splitter
Extruded Text Maker — has more options than standard text spline
Elliptical Splines
Rounded Rectangle Spline
Pathed Helix
Global Smoothing and Subdivision Controls

All of tg_jp's scripts! (I cannot keep up with them...).

Animation
BVH import
F-Curve Linker
Guided Spline
MatMovie Using movies (image sequences) for materials.
morph
Moving Textures
Particles while you wait for 5.4
Point Array
Pose Utilities mirror and flip poses quickly and efficiently
Quick Recorder — key/macro pair that lets you key a tagged object without reselecting constantly
Sequential OBJs
Automatic Lip Sync from WAV File
Export Motion XML File

Texturing and UV-Mapping
Polygon UV Editor
Material Helper gathers textures in one directory.
Text Tool
UV Stepper
Multi UV Editor amazingly useful script for editing the UV maps of multiple objects in a hierarchy at once.

Rendering
Camera Lens script lets you set camera focal length and have the field of view and similarly can control depth-of-field to match aperture settings changed accordingly.
LuxCheetah exports C3D scenes to the free physically-based renderer LuxRender

Particles
Iterative Relative Particles for Groboto-style procedural objects
Particle City custom particle system for procedurally generating "cities"

Scripting
Object Info — Parameter Info on steroids. Gives you a ton of information on the selected object and saves it as a markdown file.

Other Stuff
Learning Advanced JavaScript great tutorial for anyone who knows basic JavaScript
Hairball's Script Pack (may no longer work)
VR Object Exporter

Thanks Archie. Added. (Polygon UV Editor is huge -- I actually have my own, somewhat enhanced version of it which I should probably upload somewhere.)

Please make this thread sticky

Hi Martin,
I keep forgetting about some of the great scripts that are posted. The more I learn, the more I can make use of these, but I just add them as I find the need.
Could you please 'sticky' this thread from Podperson?

And thank you for compiling this Podperson!

I've added links to the more recent stuff I could find. (And posted this to bump up the post.) It would be nice if Martin would actually make this sticky the way he did with the tutorial list.

Just bumping this to request it to be made sticky again.
