Excellent Modeling Videos
A bunch of training videos have been put up on Silo's website.

Many of these videos apply just as much to modeling in C3D as to Silo (the big difference being that modeling a subdived mesh in Silo is nicer because the polygon edges run along the smoothed surfaces).
There's some brilliant stuff, including a great little tutorial which shows how to remove non-quads from meshes and how to use loops to isolate areas with more complexity (e.g. fingers vs. hands).
