SVG issue

SVG issue

Created an SVG in Illustrator. Imported into C3d without messing up any of the paths. BUT, when i extrude, holes- like the middle of the "A" are extruded when they should be open. What can I do?
Opened the SVG in Inkscape (free!!!) and it looks fine.

Thanks,
Danny

Hi,
holes have to have the opposite winding of the outer path. Use the reverse sequence tool to change the winding of the hole in the A. Than it should work.

Also check out the "Illustrator to Cheetah3D" tutorial which comes with Cheetah3D.

Hi,
Maybe some Cheetah3D users will be interested to know that Intaglio 2.5 supports SVG Import/Export and it work very well with Cheetah3D.

Hi Joste,
I've already read the good news that Intaglio supports SVG now. But I haven't tried it myself yet. So I'm happy to hear that it works.

Many thanks for the info.
