I'm taking a little time to test the newest pre-release version of FreeCAD.
It's referred to as a release candidate, apparently it's the final,
final step before the actual release.

Once again I followed a tutorial for this, or I never would have figured out this method.
It's all based on a master sketch that I can change and it all updates accordingly.

I hadn’t heard of FreeCAD. It looks amazing.

Have you looked at Plasticity? (Plasticity.xyz).

It’s amazing what’s available for free/cheap these days.

I'll have to check out Plasticity, thanks.

FreeCAD has been in development for more than 10 years and recently released version 1.0.
Over 200 programmers worked on it over the years. It's said to have a steep learning curve like Blender.
It's also for Windows, Linux and Mac and all mixed together on their forum.

As usual I try to answer questions on their forum, but
may not pay enough attention to the original question.
I've done that a number of times on this forum, and not once
has the poster told me I'm polluting the thread with my suggestions.

This person expected someone to take the time to help him,
but he has no patients to explain it to someone else.

I love the Cheetah forum members. 😁

I've dabbled with FreeCAD, but for sure, 99.99% of it is totally over my head. :ROFLMAO:
