We had a few visitors this morning. I think they are friendly.
It would have been nice to have a HDRI image for the lighting. In the end I used the sky light to approximate the direction of the sunlight and Affinity Photo to mask part of the flying saucer behind the bronze building. Then I used LensFlare Studio to add the lens flares. The beam was added in Affinity Photo. It's a white rectangle with a zoom blur added to it. Given tic tacs are all the rage in the UFO community these days, I inserted one in the top of the saucer.
