Lathe a spoon

Franks right of course, to much geometry, and you have multiple
vectors converging on a single point at the end.
Although I believe it can still work.

Try these tricks with the Inner Extrude tool to avoid overlapping geometry.
Zoom in on a tight meshed section of the object when you use Inner Extrude.
Don't drag, just click and then scale with the Transform Tool.
OK, I got it after reading that a few times, and now I'm on to the next step. Thanks!

I think I can live with this. I made the neck thicker to help ensure robust printing. Thanks!

Will this going to be printed with resin or PLA? Just asking because of supports for the latter.
Resin might need supports, too. I probably wouldn't risk dangling it from an end, but it doesn't matter much to me because I don't have one of those printers, anyway. I'll use ABS, because it should be pretty easy to smooth up with acetone. I think I mentioned that I had already printed one with the design shown in the OP, and it's OK, but I should have made the scoop bigger. Thanks to you, gsb, Charless, and ZooHead, I'm much more pleased with this one, if I can print it well, so thanks again!
