* A local on-line paper (Der Standard, Vienna, Austria) contains a review of a 3D printer. The device seems to be directed to beginners and may be of interest to those wanting to experiment.
Some brief snippets from this review:
* A price of €300 - €350 is given. Amazon charges quite a bit more than that, the producer lists €320 on their German website and $360 on the US site.
* Simple set up
* Printing volume is 245mm x 245mm x 260mm, apparently quite large for this price class
* USB / SD-Card
* 3 fans, though not as noisy as previous model
* Some fiddling gets a precision of 0.16mm; the standard profile seems a bit useless. The timer underestimates the duration of the printing process, specifically with complex 3D models.
* The resin supplied with the standard order may be of uneven quality and should be replaced.
* Power 350W max
Note that I am not engaged in 3D printing nor plan to do so in the medium future and hold no shares in the company (HQ in Shenzen, PRC) producing this equipment.
