Here’s another painting using the Aluvial Fan scene and various other pieces. A refined composition started with the quick study in the painted HDRI background thread.

So far I’ve only done a 4096x2890 px render which took about an hour and a half.

I like the Starfish and and the Eagle with the the 'gimbaled' Head. They bring a little story to the scene.

Thanks. The sea star is kind of a generic one I made based roughly on which species are common around my area.

The bird is not an eagle, but a Laysan Albatross. I modeled it based on hundreds of photos I’ve taken of them on trips to Kaua’i. It is close enough for birders to recognize as being that species of albatross. But scientifically, it is not completely accurate.
