@ZooHead , I like how the base of the threads transition smoothly to the outer ring.
They look like they are molded from the same plastic (as they should).

Threads are a interesting problem when modeling with quads
as any spiral inevitably leads to a triangle, or a bunch of triangles.
I figured out a method for all quads if you limit the spiral edges at the end to two.
One creates a triangle and the second one turns that triangle into a quad.
PS: Love that spark plug.
