I've been playing with a little retrofuturism lately and found myself missing a Bryce tool: Multi-Replicate. Similar to Array, Ring and Symmetry, it allows you to create instances of a single original object, but it lets you set the physical offset, scale and rotation for each axis. It also...
* With a bit of geometrical fiddling you can also generate a non-linear array or clusters on a 3D manifold. There are some samples on biological repetition (seeds in sunflowers, growth in cauliflowers and seashells somewhere on this forum).
* For more complex constructs there is a Java script for relative particle arrays.
