Cheetah3D 7.5

Hi,
I've just released Cheetah3D 7.5. It improves the texture drawing tool but also improves the compatibility with Big Sur. So I recommend this update to everybody who's already using macOS Big Sur.

New features in v7.5:

-improved the texture painting tools
   -added stroke smoothing (quadric interpolation of brush strokes)
   -added some common brush properties (hardness, flow)
   -much faster texture drawing (expeciall on big textures)
   -much faster texture updates in 3D view during drawing (expecially on dedicated GPUs)
-added support for rendering omni directional stereoscopic panoramas (ODS)
-added "r", "g", "b", "a" properties to Vec4D Javascript class
-improved create texture dialog
-fixed rounding bug in steppers
-fixed crashing bug when exchanging textures
-fixed bug in subdivision algorithm (handled pinned UVs incorrectly)
-fixed bug in rope dynamics simulation
-fixed crashing bug on Big Sur
-fixed tabs display bug on Big Sur

The Big Sur related fixes are new. I hoped that I would be already much further with the Metal version but due to it's delay I returned to v7.x to fix at least the Big Sur problems.

I'm worried Cheetah3D isn't rock solid yet since I already received another crash log. So the crashing bug might just be partially fixed.

So if you encounter a problem with on Big Sur please let me know.

I'm very optimistic that Cheetah3D 7.5.1 converged to the final bug fix. I got a test scene from a users which allowed me to reproduce that special crash and that helped a lot to track down that evil bug.

If we downloaded the 7.5 version and we don't use Big Sur should we still use the 7.5.1 beta? or can we just stick with the 7.5 Version
I'm running OSX El Capitan Ver 10.11.6

The crashing bug only showed up on Big Sur. So you can are not effected by the crash.

I've released the final 7.5.1 today. I'm quite confident that v7.5.1 runs nicely on macOS Big Sur so it's officially supported now.
