After watching a set of 10 minute modelling challenges for Blender, I have been inspired to get back to 3D.
The challenges aren't meant to be tutorials but watching somebody put together some impressive objects has helped me a lot.
Now Cheetah 3D is not Blender, and I haven't figured out how to translate all that I have "learned" but it has been fun.
Now I am no-where near the 10 minute mark, and I am still not sure if I should be extruding or covering and moving etc. but that is part of the challenge.
This is a basic render of my first object in many years, I am happy with the general shape.
That said, there are a number of issues:
* The render
* Odd topology/geometry around the canopy
I am sure you guys can see more
