Cheap SLA Resin Printer

I found out that there are new cheap clones of the FormZ style printers gushing out of China for well under USD200, so I had one shipped to me. Early take is that it's messy to use but produces the best output I've ever gotten from any 3d printer.

I've wanted a 3D printer for absolutely no good reason ever since they appeared. Now that they're getting cheap AND good, I'm reconsidering -- but then, I'm a guy who bought a B&W laser printer because I couldn't find any of the cheap ink-based printers that could survive only being needed a couple of times a year. I fear 3D printheads and reservoirs may have similar problems. I also couldn't stand paying more for consumables than I did for the printers themselves. Keep us informed, I have your blog bookmarked now. Thanks!
 
I’ve definitely had some issues, but so far this is by far the best results I have ever gotten out of a 3D printer.
