3Dconnexion SpaceNavigator 3D Mouse broken in 7.4.2

Hi, I have been using the 3D Mouse for years with Cheetah with no problems. I have Cheetah 7.3.1, 7.3.4 Beta 1 and 7.4.2 installed. It works fine in both the 7.3 versions but not in 7.4.2
