newsboy question: try to combine objects but they disappear

Hi Folks
im new to cheetah3d. I mage a simple character with some objects. now i want to combine the objects to one object to use the skeleton feature.

But when i use the boolean modifier the objects disappear. same happens when i use the button "Add" (top right corner).

How can i combine all objects to one object?

Select all and call ->Tools->Merge instead.
