Problem exporting into iclone

I am creating a few objects in Cheetah using a Boolean to cutout the centre of the foam.

I export as FBX ( tried both ver 7 & ver 6) and OBJ and import into iClone ( via 3D exchange ) and get an error as per the attached image. (Screenshot(1).

I export OBJ and import into Blender it works okay.

I am posting to the Reallusion forum as well.

Can you please check "Triangulate" at the Boolean-Modifier/Creator before making it editable. I believe they can´t handle nGons.
Alternatively you can export to STL.

Cheers

Hi Frank.

I cannot import STL to iClone.
I clicked the "Triangulate" and exported again but get the same issue. Although the 'line' look different.

Exported both ver 6&7

Here´s the reason why it don´t work and how easy the fix is when you just merge the 2 splines (instead of using any Boolean tools) into 1 compound path and take this for the Extrude-Creator. The covers are now all triangulated and welded:

Hi,

The import is working.

Sorry but I don't understand the steps to re-create your process.

Cheers
