After baking the simulation you need to select the animated parts at frame 1 and record keys of their position and rotation (physics doesn't affect scale I think).I´m in-between: 7.4.3/10.13.6 What I´m overlooking?
Bake simulation • shift+E->FBX7.5.0/Binary/everything checked except UV2 coords=no anim data

Exactly how does one "bake the simulation"? I see "bake texture" and "bake IK", but I can't find any reference to "bake simulation".To record dynamics I baked the simulation
Just keyframed the rigid body 2.jas example, exported to fbx and imported into Blender - works perfectly.
Especially with hierarchy - put the whole scene into a folder and keyframe the folder - then drag everything out again and delete the folder, the dynamic cache and tags.
Every item will be neatly keyframed.

Apparently not.How could this be done for a Particle Mesh with 100,000 instanced particles
Apparently not.
The rigid body example has no particle system but single boxes in a folder, for those it worked.
I just tried to recreate the rigid body thing and the hirarchy didn't work any more, so it has become impractical when every single item had to be keyframed.
2019 I was on C3D7.4, now on C3D8, different OS and Mac too, no idea what happened in that period
