Let camera follow spline but rotated instead of straight ahead

Let camera follow spline but rotated instead of straight ahead

Hi again,

I need my camera to move like in the attached gif. I couldn't find a way to do this in Cheetah3D.
Just look at the camera movement:
– The camera's center follows the spline (just a simple circle in this example)
– The camera's view direction follows the spline as well but retains its relative rotation.

Hope this is either already possible or will be soon!:p

Just meant as a quick hack.

Nice one, frank!

Though this is really just a "hack". For more complex splines you would probably have to enlarge the target's spline to make sure both's splines don't cross each other at any point.

Thanks anyway!

Hi,
Try this: Uncheck the aline to tangent button and than just rotate the camera!
Good work Frank, maybe you should make the cube transparent.

Hope this helped,
Greg

The circle was just an example.
Seems like I should have made it more clear that I actually was asking for a universal solution.
Sorry for that.
