Modeling a cartoon figure.

Thanks for the link Uncle. That's a great approach to explaining a modelling technique without getting lost in the software he is using. I've never tackled modelling a person (well, I recall trying once and gave up).

What would be nice is a Cheetah 3D version of the exact same tutorial highlighting the tools used for each step, or with the tutor's permission, making a copy of the video and overlaying the C3D tool names, and any other relevant settings / info. I noticed he always said "extrude", but in Cheetah 3D speak, it's "Cover" and "Inner Extrude" for many of the operations.

When he extruded the face forward to provision some geometry for the ear, can that be done as easily in Cheetah 3D?

Cheers

Thanks Unc!

I've always been interested in character modeling. I've tried a few times but only got some mediocre results. I've bookmarked the video and downloaded the files.
