Lightmapping, Baked Radiosity

Lightmapping, Baked Radiosity

Martin, I don't know if Lightmapping and Baked Radiosity are the same thing really, but what I'd like to be able to do is apply the shading generated by a radiosity render as a permanent texture (or texture layer...) to the objects in a scene.

Does anyone else know any details of what would be needed to make this happen?
