Basic Spline Tracking

Very cool ZOO...!
A simple but effective tut!!

On a similar 'path' :)wink: )... how would you have an object, like your cube,
in a scene, and make a camera circle around on say, an elliptical path?
(viewing the object along the entire path of course)

Thanks again for the great tut!

Thanks Al, I'm glad you like it.

To get the Camera on track, put the Spline Tracking Tag on it instead of on the box.

To get the Camera to "Target" the box, put a Target Tag on the Camera,
and drag the box to the "Socket" labeled Target Object.

To make an oval spline, scale it in one direction.

You can also make the spline editable and manipulate the points to change it's shape.

Great ZOO!
I will give this a go this evening... appreciate your help and input!

Thanks Zoohead!
Right-Click on Record/Record Position was a missing ingredient. (I very rarely do animation work)
--shift studio.
