Polygon To Spline tip
One important step to remember is to use the Tools — Coord System — Burn transform. In the attached picture, I started with a default cube, then moved, rotated and scaled it. When I dragged it into the "guide target" box per ZooHead, I got the result on the left. After I burned the transform, the spline object appeared where expected, as on the right.
