What is the unit of measure

I have the free download and I can't seem to figure out what the unit of measure is or how to set the unit of measure.
 
I think there are no real units like inch, centimeter, etc. But when you model you can use 1 modelunit for 1 metre for instance (anyway, that's how I use it now). Maybe real units will be in the next version (martin?) :D

Where will be the advantage of a "real" measure? Isn't it all the same? Or what the program do better when you model in inch oder meter?
 
Very true. So a real unit isn't really necessary. So Martin maybe one less TODO on your list ? :D

Hi,
I know that there is interest for measures in Cheetah3D. Originally I thought that measures aren't that important because if you work unit less you can think in meters or inches are whatever you need.
If you finally want to export the model you can still change the units by setting the "export scale" factors of the file exporters.

I plan to add units to Cheetah3D but that feature has a quite low priority at the moment. Sorry.
