Define Spline Starting Point & Invert Direction

So now my questions to all you great scripters around here:

1. Is it possible to tell a given point of a spline to be the starting point using a C3D script?

2. Is it possible to invert the direction of an array of point of a spline using a C3D script?
[Edit: Just noticed this is covered by the "Reverse Sequence" tool]

The first one would be an awesome script feature!
Especially useful when working with the "Fill Between Splines" script.
