I watched the tutorial novolume made on modeling a magnifying glass and decided to build something out of almost entirely 1 cylinder.
So here's my lightsaber, I've applied a standard silver and standard hammered metal to it, but the HDRI makes it this really nasty gold color... I want it to be straight silver. if I turn down the reflection that helps some. Also, If I add light, it doesn't help..at all. I've been rendering this thing and tweak options for over an hour.. Super confused. |

Take your HDRI image and change the hue in Photoshop.

Just make a copy of your HDRI and change the hues, brightness, contrast, to suit you.
