Getting Started...Assigning Keys..
EDIT>Found it under the prefs>>>
Hi from another new user of Cheetah...
Aotearoa New Zealand this time..
This app looks great, I really look forward to understanding it well.
I am emerging from some Maya training, and have chosen Cheetah to be my specialist tool for Polygonal modelling for integration with Unity...(Game Engine)
1.To utilise my Maya backround, I'm interested to know how I can set up the Cheetah interface to match Maya as much as possibile, as far as assigned keys are concerned...I feel sure theres instructions about assigning keys but I havent found them-Is there Instructions somewhere for setting up key assignment?
It looks as though Cheetah does all the important stuff, So now I would be keen to start speed modelling, and if its a case of reprogramming a few keys or reprogramming my brain, Chances are its worth doing some key assigning early on..
2. Once I have created such a preference file, is there a way I can isolate it so that I can make it available for other Maya refugees in order to enable them to hit the ground running?
I hope no one is offended that I want to Cheat Cheetah in2 Maya, its just that it will give me the fastest workflow...
Thank You
AaronC
