Stupid question re free cover CD Cheetah 2.6.1

Hello all

I recently purchased a copy of Macworld with a free version of Cheetah on the CD.

Firstly thank you for making this excellent program available in this way. I have been keeping an eye on Cheetah for a while now.

Second, the program on the CD does not appear to have a proper installer - it seems as though you drag the Cheetah folder from the CD to your hard disk, after which you double click the dmg file and it opens up a new “virtual Cheetah hard disk” on your desktop. You must then double click this virtual hard disk and then you must then double click the Cheetah icon to launch the program. Does this sound right ? Or have I missed something ? It seems like a laborious way to launch the program.

Well... dopey ... not so...
Once you have launced the virtual cd, then copy the program folder into your application folder. After that you can eject the virtual cd and use the program rigth of your hard drive.
Have fun... this is a really cool app.

I created a new folder in my applications folder called Cheetah - I then copied the contents of the Cheetah virtual hard disk to this folder, deleted the Cheetah virtual hard disk, and presto - works great.
