Hi,
here is a small preview of an upcoming feature. It is a sky light. It claculates the light coming from the sun and the sky. This scene was just illuminated by the sky light. No HDRI, Image based lightning, etc. Bye, Martin |

That looks very good - what kind of render time did that take?

Awesome! I went so far as to build my own skylight as a template.

So do you basically calculate HDRI lighting?
If so do you do "moonlight", sunset, and sunrise? MacBook Pro 2.66GHz (2 core) 8GB RAM | Mac Pro 3.2GHz (4 core) | Cheetah 3d 6.x | OS X 10.8.x |

Wow, that looks absolutely fantastic!
Lighting is always the most difficult to get right... this could be "the easy way out" for simple folk like me |
