Hey I am new here

Hey I am new here

Thanks for letting me participate, I do lots of Filemaker and other database work. Also editing in FinalCut Pro
3D up to now was more of a hobby I would like to take it further and I recently bought a copy of UNIty and Cheetah of course.
Now I am starting to discover how easy it is to use.
At the moment I am trying to work out how to use tags and how to apply shadows must be doing something wrong. so any general tips in this area would be appreciated.

 knowing how easy it its in Cocoa's Interface Builder to add slider mechanisms I am wondering why cheetah does not use them as well and numeric input. ( may be worth putting in Wish-list) However maybe there's some good reason why Martin does not implement sliders for adjustment.
I think they give better visual feedback.

Anyway enough of that thanks for a great program.

Try dragging any of the numeric input boxes up or down... This will increase or decrease the value just like a slider.

Thanks thats good to be aware of

Hey thats useful, however what I thought of was the fact that a slider gives you visual feedback for whatever the setting is.

Still there may be some logic reason why its not done that way.
It would defiantly take up more room and make it less clean looking.
