Spinners? We don't need no bleeping spinners. :eek:

I do however insist on good brakes so... maybe a set of Wilwood discs all around next.
Tires are another matter that could take me a while, and a good rubber tire material still eludes me.

 
Although I must admit spinners are fun; I prefer the Red and Silver rim.
It's striking - different - not just the usual run of the mill.
HammerHead is a great theme for the truck.
I wouldn't change a thing.

Maybe you could make a similar truck with license plates like the one you now have on the vehicle
but put the word Bubba! on it and have harness seat belts like the ones found in race cars
for all the die hard "good old boys". :tongue:

I'm working on the disc brake housing now, for the custom 6 piston "DILWEED" brakes.
A tricky bugger, but with some slight changes, it's coming along.

pretty stunning Zoo. Very nicely detailed. There's probably almost an equal amount of polygons in these brake calipers as there are in the body of your truck ;)

Thank you, Cheetah became such a nice tool when I finally
stopped comparing it to other programs I've used over the years.

Tips: Get used to using Gadget Mode, and going in and
out of Symmetry should be as easy as changing your socks.

Thanks Rene, it's not that bad yet, but I had to check. ;)

I'm sure I'll have to turn off all SubDiv Modifiers once I combine
everything, or moving anything will bog the system down.

I'm not even using a SubDiv Modifier anymore on the brake housing,
as I've incorporated two Catmull-Clark SubDivs along the way.

Actually that's another good tip, turning the modifier on and off allows
me to see the inside without having to burrow in with the camera. :icon_thumbup:

What I should have written was, don't be afraid to incorporate
the Symmetry Modifier for some operation. (make editable)
Then split the model again, adding another symmetry Modifier.
I do this many times with some models.

Bonus Tip: Keep Symmetry Modifiers on top of the hierarchy.

I began working on my Teddy Bear again and I'm having a hard time modeling
the inside of his mouth so I can morph it. This new information will really help.

sweet rims - actually quite a nice design contrast to all the chrome or satin metal finished rims out there. I'm assuming that the design includes that the HHE plate lifts off to reveal the lugs. Great execution of a concept that doesn't follow trends yet looks slick. Very well done.
 

Thanks a lot Rene, I was lucky with this one because it came
organically with no design in mind other than the 7 spokes.
I had intended to do lug nuts, but this was just right and easier.

I think they look muscular, but sensual. Sort of like a sexy
female body builder, attractive and scary at the same time.
I wanted something heavy looking because this
truck looks very light being a mini pickup.

Now maybe the most difficult part for me... the tires.
Shape is no problem, but getting a good tread patterns
and a black rubber tire material has been hard.
